About Smart Growth Greater Madison
Founded in 2003 by a group of local real estate developers to represent the voice of the real estate development community in Madison. Later, the scope of the organization was expanded to include all of Dane County. Our goal is to create an environment that encourages individuals, groups, and businesses to continue to invest in transforming the built environment of the Greater Madison area to create a strong and thriving community for all.
Today we are a well-balanced collaboration of local developers and members of the real estate development and construction community, which includes property managers, general contractors, subcontractors, architecture firms, construction managers, engineering firms, consulting firms, accounting firms, law firms, commercial lenders, title companies, insurance brokers, and labor organizations.
